Old world charm meets rustic elegance with this beautiful home situated on beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene. In correlation with Edwards Smith Construction, we were able to design a space that was comfortable yet sophisticated for the homeowners. Large beams and the massively extensive hardwood floors tie the main floor together giving you a dramatic first impression. Expansive views of Lake Coeur d’Alene from the multiple decks and patios bring the outdoors in and allow for a great entertaining space. The kitchen was a challenge. We pulled old world elements into the backsplash and above the range to coexist seamlessly together. The hood is spectacular and was carved out of limestone leading your eye up to the 16 foot ceilings. The main hall transforms itself to a gorgeous master bedroom suite with a bathroom that boasts everything polished onyx. Downstairs there are three other bedrooms all with an attached on suite. A wet bar and recreational room is the initial feature that welcomes you to the basement level. Natural light saturates the space while rich woods and decorative moldings give it an intimate feel. A powder room at the base of the stairs leaves a lasting impression. Rhomboid stone tiles are chosen to mimic the shape of the mirror above the vanity. Landscaped to perfection and an added guest house for extra company, you may never want to leave.
